What is Micro-learning?
Micro-learning is an approach to online education that gives the learner flexibility to complete a course on their own timeline. Micro-learning includes short segments of educational content instead of a long video or article. Learners are able to complete small chunks of a course at a time most convenient for them. Instead of being forced to sit in front of a computer for hours, learners can take 5-10 minutes to complete a part of the course. Then, they can come back to the course and pick up where they left off at a later time.
What does Micro-learning mean for me?
Micro-learning gives you more control of your learning experience. Don't have time to watch an entire video? Complete a quick case study and reflect on how you can integrate the content into your own practice. Have 10 minutes to complete a quick quiz? Tackle one piece of the course at a time. The Sepsis Alliance Institute is always trying new and innovative forms of content delivery, so you have many options to get the information you need in a format that works for you.
